Chip Robinson Memorial Grant
Helping Local Entrepreneurs Succeed Online
Honoring the memory of Chip Robinson, this grant rewards eligible entrepreneurs in the Phoenix area with funding, education, and resources to develop a robust digital presence and website.
Today, every business owner should have a website. Websites help entrepreneurs attract new customers, receive payment, and schedule appointments. Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs have never learned the technical skills or lack the resources to build their own websites. This gap makes it difficult for many talented entrepreneurs to scale their businesses. We’ve created this grant to address this problem.
Recipients of this program will earn a $500 grant, which can be applied to the cost of the development or hosting of their websites. With a little bit of education, we believe most entrepreneurs can learn how to build their own sites using drag and drop website editors, such as Wix and Squarespace. The $500 grant should provide entrepreneurs with roughly two years of covered web hosting costs. Our hope is that this two year runway will help to propel their businesses to new heights.

“It would have been very difficult to create this website myself. I would have wasted a lot of time trying to figure things out on my own.
